I'm Feeling Quite...Antsy...
So, hiatus (or Hellatus, for all of you SPN fans :P) has always been a hard time for fans of ANY major TV show. Sure, you have Christmas and New Years to tide you over for a little, but January is literally the WORST month in all of existence if you have a favourite television show. This become especially hard if said favourite show is one you've just newly discovered and are kind of obsessed over and you literally spend all of your free time on fansites and shit and...
So, yeah. Hiatus is rough. BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For me, that light was SUPPOSED to be this Friday when Supernatural came back. Sure, I'd still have to wait for Glee, but tomorrow was supposed to be like...a herald letting me know the wait was pretty much over. Then it got announced that SPN was being pushed back a week. So the CW could play re-runs of VD and Nikita. Yeah. For some reason, even though it's just a week, this makes Hellatus seem SO much longer. Seriously. It's like under ten days and I'm sitting here being like, "STOP THE MADNESS!". So, really, I have to do SOMETHING other than sit around waiting for spoilers and speculating. That's what I've been doing for the last two months and I swear I'm on the brink of insanity. So, I've decided to do something to tide me over.
You guys remember that SPN meme I did to tide me over before the season premiere? Well, I've found the Glee version. So, yeah I'm going to do it. However, since I would like to be done by the end of hiatus, I'm going to answer three questions a day. This will take me up to Saturday, February 5th. So, after SPN starts but before Glee. So...yeah.
tl;dr-I'm getting cabin fever due to Hellatus so I'm doing a Glee 30 day meme...in 10 days.
Let's get started.
Question 1: Favourite Female Character
Couch Bieste
So, I seriously adore her. She's all tough on the outside, but she's the absolute sweetest person on the inside. I mean, the Christmas episode, you guys. Patience! :'(
Basically, I hope she gets more screentime later on in the season. Especially considering this is a big bullying season, it would make sense to have more of her bad ass self. You know would rock, actually? She should talk to Kurt. I don't even care how or why, they should just have a talk. It would be the best scene to ever be...
Honourary Mention: Tina Cohen-Chang, you a fierce bitch who deserves all of the love.
Question 2: Favourite Male Character
Kurt Hummel
LOOK AT THAT FINE, FRESH, FIERCE BITCH. YOU JEALOUS? WELL YOU SHOULD BE. THIS GUY CAN DRESS BETTER THAN YOU. OH, AND HE HAS THE VOICE OF A FREAKING ANGEL. COULD YOU SING "DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA" AND "DEFYING GRAVITY"? I DON'T THINK YOU CAN!
Uh, anyway, Kurt is basically awesome. I may have started watching for Darren Criss, but Kurt made me want to go back and watch Season 1. He's so sweet and at the same time he's super fierce. He deserves all the love. <3
Honourary Mention: No one holds a candle to Kurt. Blaine comes close but...yeah. He's no Kurt.
Question 3: Favourite Group Performance
True Colours
So, this category was really hard because, this show has a LOT of great group numbers. I went through my entire Glee playlist until I got to this song. This performance is great for a couple of reasons. First, it doesn't involve any fancy dancing or showmanship. The costumes are also very simple. Basically, the entire beauty of this performance comes from their voices alone. That's just...awesome.
Oh, and the second reason is that the solo was given to my girl Tina. She seriously does NOT get featured enough. So...yeah. :)
Honourary Mention: Bad Romance was also pretty bad ass. Gaga is awesome. Always.
