I said there would be more. So, here is my Top 20 Favourite Supernatural Episodes! Why? Because why the hell not? (I'm really bored, okay?)

20. 1x11: Scarecrow

Ah, season one. How I...sometimes love thee. This episode is one of the only season one episodes I really, thoroughly enjoy. I don't really know why. Maybe it's because it's the first time we get a Sam plot where he's on his own. Maybe it's that this is the first appearance of the fierce bitch we call Meg. Maybe it's that the damsel-in-distress of the week is named Emily. Whatever the reason, this episode is a heaping pile of Monster of the Week fun, and a definite reason to take a look at your season one DVD's.

19. 4x20: The Rapture

I really like this episode because it's the first time we really register that Cas doesn't own the body he's in. During all of season four we just kind of assume this is Cas and that's all. It allows to, for the first time, notice that there's something wrong with the way the angels run things (which is also shown through Cas' "reprogramming" that happens when he's brought back to heaven). It's something different that we don't often see and that makes it interesting.

18. 1x09: Home

Oh my God, I don't think you guys even understand how much I love Missouri Moseley. She is a fierce bad ass who deserves all the awards. She is the reason to go back and watch this episode. Oh, and also Sam's awesome psychicness comes into play here and we get the first glimpse that something isn't quite right with Mary Winchester. Hell, the fact we get Mary Winchester makes this episode win. Okay, now I'm just rambling. Bascially, fierce women=awesome.

17. 6x15: The French Mistake

I will admit, I love when Supernatural goes meta. I love every reference to fangirls and conventions and everything fandom is. So, obviously, The French Mistake was glorious. Poking fun at the actors, SAM AND DEAN TRYING TO ACT, it was all superb. My favourite part, though, was probably Misha tweeting if only because the real Misha tweeted along with the episodes. Yup. It happened. Also, Misha's polar bear sweater. That is all.

16. 5x18: Point of No Return

I feel I should give you fair warning, there's a lot of season five on this list. With that said, let's talk about this episode. It was the big number one hundred so, of course, it had to be good. Cas was a bad ass, Sam was the hero I know and love and Dean...well we're supposed to be talking about what I like in the episode, so I'll keep him out of this. I very much enjoyed all of the blatant fanservice in this episode ("You know Cas, not for nothing but the last time some looked at me like that, I got laid." Why yes, I did just quote that from memory). Also, Zachariah, the bane of my existance died. So all around, good times.

15. 5x16: Dark Side of the Moon

I love episodes that give us insight into the Winchester psyche. Maybe it's the psych major in me, but it just makes me want to write essays about their mental states. This episode does this really well. The entire walk through heaven tells a lot about what's important to both Sam and Dean. Dean, obviously values his family above all else (after all, all of his best memories surround them). Sam, although I do believe he loves his family dearly, values his personal freedom and independence. He likes to be able to be more than just Dean's brother and John's son. This episode also works in telling us about Dean's fear of everyone leaving him. It was, all in all, a really good look at what makes the boys tick. Oh, also, Dean had a scene with his Mom. That means instant tears from me. Just saying.

14. 4x01: Lazarus Rising

This picture right here should be the only reason you need. THE BEGINNING OF CASTIEL! THE BEGINNING OF DEAN/CAS! OMFG! That's seriously all I've got.

13. 4x18: The Monster at the End of This Book

Again, I love meta. This was the beginning of it. I loved Sam and Dean finding out about the series, I loved their talk about forums and Sam!Girls vs. Dean!Girls and Wincest, I loved it all. It still makes me laugh. This episode also introduces my King, Chuck Shirley. I want him back worse than bad, you guys have no idea. He's just such a little nerd who finds his creations all of a sudden thrust in front of him and doesn't know what to do. He's just...awesome. There's also some plotline about Sam trying to get with Lillith, but we'll pretend that doesn't exist so we can enjoy the meta in peace.

12. 4x08: Wishful Thinking

Supernatural does humour really well. Especially when that humour is applied to a Monster of the Week type of episode. This is a perfect example. For those who don't remember this (because it wasn't very story heavy) basically some dude enchants this wishing well so it ends up actually granting the people in town's wishes (although, not always as intended). This is basically on the list only for the teddy bear who doesn't understand the meaning of life and the kid who gets super strength and, upon discovering this yells, "KNEEL BEFORE TODD!" I keep it on my rewatch schedule for those two reasons alone.

11. 5x09: The Real Ghostbusters

MORE CHUCK AND META YOU SAY? Well, yes. I love this episode because it takes everything from The Monster at the End of This Book and increases it tenfold. Becky is a hilarious representation of slash culture and of fangirls in general. Barnes and Damian are the perfect fanboys (as well as showing us how fandom can bring people together <3). There's also that dude in the convention who keeps asking asinine questions and he reminds me of people I see at every convention I go to. This episode felt like a sort of in joke that only fandom people would really get and I enjoyed every minute of it. Also, Chuck/Becky=OTP.

10. 5x03: Free to Be You and Me

I love seeing Sam and Dean work seperately. It's always so interesting to see what they do with themselves when they're not together. Sam trying to have a normal life and failing just goes to show how ingrained into the hunter lifestyle he's become. This episode also brought the whole vessel thing to a whole different level which was interesting. I think that's it. Did I miss anything?

Oh yeah. DEAN AND CAS HANG OUT AND ARE BUDS AND THERE'S TIE FIXING AND THE DEN OF INIQUITY AND BERT AND EARNIE ARE GAY BUT NOT AS GAY AS THEM AND DEAN DOESN'T REMEMBER WHEN HE'S HAD SO MUCH FUN AND PEOIHVPOEIHVBPASIUDVHSEPHVWEPIOVNCDCNA.

09. 5x08: Changing Channels

I. Love. Gabriel. Episodes. Every single one of them makes me laugh out loud. This one is no exception. The opening is so amazing and I kind of wish they'd make it the regular opening because the Winchesters are adorable and stuff. Sam became the Impala. Cas is a pretty boy angel. Dean can speak Japanese. All of it is so cracky and fantastic. Then, all of a sudden it gets serious and we're talking about Gabe's family and how he doesn't want them to fight and you sit there and wonder when the hell you started giving a damn about the Trickster but you find that you really, really do and...yeah. Holy run on sentence, Batman. Good times.

08. 3x03: Bad Day at Black Rock

The introduction of Bela Talbot. The rabbit foot. Sam becoming unlucky. "I lost my shoe." Dean getting it and becoming awesome. Sam setting the hotel room on fire by not doing anything at all. Dean being Batman. All in all, this is the best kind of crack.

07. 2x01: In My Time of Dying

This is, in my opinion, the best season opener Supernatural has ever had. The end of season one left everyone guessing whether our heroes will make it through and this opening puts that danger very obviously in your face. Dean's emotional journey through denying and, near the end almost accepting his death is done really well. The ouija board scene is intense. Sam trying to save Dean while fighting with his father while doing so is awesome. The ending is probably the most memorable part about this episode. John dying to save his son, but not before whispering something in Dean's ear that we know is relevant but won't come up for a handful of episodes drove all of us crazy when it happened. All in all, solid emotional journey.

06. 2x15: Tall Tales

Sometimes when you're watching the newer episodes of Supernatural, you forget about how things used to be. That's why I often go back and watch this episode. Not only is it on crack (slowdancing aliens anyone?) but it has Dean and Sam just being brothers. Not vessels in some holy war, not fighting an evil that only they can stop, just two guys who get on each other's nerves because they're around each other all the time. The moments in this episode where we see situations from both of their points of view isn't just hilarious, it also reminds us that sometimes Sam and Dean are not just these chosen heroes. They're human. Plus, come on, this episode gave us wrestling on the bed. That makes it an instant classic.

05. 6x20: The Man Who Would Be King

I love Cas. I love when he's socially oblivious. I love when he's a bad ass. But, more than anything, I love when he's conflicted. So, basically this episode was like a dream come true. The idea of Cas trying to explain to his father what he did and get guidance...it breaks my heart a little. This episode also FINALLY has Dean defending Cas (for the first, and only time in season six) which was lovely. Oh yeah, and all the Dean/Cas was amazing too. Except when they broke up. I wasn't into that, obviously.

04. 5x04: The End

Post-apocolyptic world that's over run with Croatoan infected zombies? Yes please! This episode looked and felt epic from beginning to end. I kind of wish Lucifer would have won so season six could've been this. It's just so...awesome. Plus, we get to see future versions of our heroes, all of which kind of foreshadow how the future would've been had Swan Song not ended the way it did. Dean's a heartless monster of a leader, Cas is living off of substance abuse and Sam is...well the Devil. It's such a unique insight into our heroes that it makes me want to watch it over and over. Also, if you haven't I highly recommend watching this episode with commentary at least once. Kripke and Edlund are hilarious.

03. 3x11: Mystery Spot

This is another episode that has just the right mixture of crack and serious business storytime. The first half is just an excuse to use all the crazy deaths the writers could think up, I'm sure. The taco one is particularly ingenius. However, it's the second half of the episode that makes me really love it. I love seeing Sam without Dean, as I've mentioned before. This episode gives me that and I love it. I adored how crazy Sam went without him. It was a great insight into how much Dean's presence in his life had kept him sane. Plus, knowing what we do now gives this episode a whole new dimension, particularly when looking at Gabriel's character. He did this to show Sam that he needed to let go of Dean. Why? Because if he doesn't he could, I don't know, befriend a demon, start drinking her blood and inadvertently start the apocolypse causing Gabriel's brothers to be forced to fight? Yup. Makes you think.

02. 7x10: Death's Door

SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LATEST SUPERNATURAL YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS SECTION NOW.
I am madly in love with this episode. It's strange because I've never been particularly fond of Bobby (not that I don't like him, just he's not my favourite) but this episode made me feel things. My favourite part was definitely the ending. The last memory Bobby has, the one he clung to until the end, isn't some important life changing moment. It's Sam and Dean fighting over whether licorice is a movie food or not. It's his boys (those boys he adopted who grew up to be heroes) just being themselves. Watching them scuffle, knowing it's the last thing he has, it makes Bobby smile a little. It's just so...beautiful. Then there's that last moment. I firmly believe Bobby moved on, although other people think otherwise. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

01. 5x22: Swan Song

I don't think I've ever cried so hard over a television show as I did over this episode. I knew this one was going to be big, it was the end of the five year plan after all. I guess I just didn't realize how big. The Impala scenes were beautifully done and Chuck's voice is so soothing. Sam overcoming because of the Impala, because it reminds him of his family, of his brother, was done so well. The point where Chuck is reading the epilogue never fails to make me bawl. The whole they chose family stuff...you guys I love this show a whole lot, okay? I think this would've been a good way to end the series, to be honest, but oh well. It's still the best episode in my opinion.
