Day 15: A Scene That Makes You Angry
(I can't find a video/pic of the scene in question, so have some badass archangel instead. <3)
Since I can't find a VIDEO of the scene, let me quote it for you.
Gabriel: I can't kill my brother, Dean.
Dean: Can't or won't?
Okay. So, this little interaction made me SO ANGRY. Here's why. Sam and Dean KNOW from Changing Channels that Gabriel left because he LOVES HIS FAMILY AND DIDN'T WANT TO SEE THEM FIGHT ANYMORE. So, really, it should be obvious that Gabriel won't kill his brother, because even though he's the devil HE'S STILL FAMILY. Remember what this show is about, Dean? FAMILY! Not just your family, family IN GENERAL. Just because you're a Winchester doesn't mean you are THE ONLY PERSON WITH A FAMILY THEY CARE ABOUT! Also, this scene reminded me of a scene in Season 2 when Dean's all, "I might have to kill you, Sammy." Remember that? Remember how Dean DIDN'T AND THUS SHOULD BE SYMPATHETIC TO GABRIEL'S SITUATION?! It's just so...GRRR!!! >:(
